Who we are

GigForge is a UK booking agency run by Richard. We book live acts, such as Oasis Forever, into music venues and theatres. This policy covers our website, GigForge.co.uk, and the enquiries you send us.

We are responsible for the personal data you give us. If you have any questions about this policy or your data, email bookings@gigforge.co.uk.

What we collect

Our booking enquiry form asks for:

• venue name
• your name
• your email address
• your phone number (optional)
• your preferred date
• your venue capacity
• the act you are interested in, and your message

We also receive anything you choose to include if you email us directly.

How the form works

The form does not send your details to our website or store them anywhere online. When you press “Send enquiry”, it opens your own email app with a message to bookings@gigforge.co.uk already filled in. Nothing is sent until you choose to send that email, and it then reaches us as a normal email.

How we use your information

We use your details only to reply to your enquiry and, if you go ahead, to arrange and manage the booking. That includes checking availability, agreeing terms and keeping in touch about the show.

Under UK data protection law (the UK GDPR), we rely on our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries you send us. If you go on to book an act, we also use your details because we need them to agree and carry out that booking.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share it for marketing.

To arrange a gig, we may share the details needed with the act you are booking (for example, Oasis Forever), such as your venue, date, and contact details for the day. We only share what they need to plan and play the show.

How long we keep it

We keep your details for as long as we need them to handle your enquiry and any booking that follows. After that, we delete them.

Cookies and analytics

This website does not set any cookies and does not use analytics or tracking tools.

Third-party services on this site

• Hosting. This website is hosted by Netlify, Inc., which processes standard server logs, such as visitors’ IP addresses, to deliver and secure the site. See Netlify’s privacy policy.
• Google Fonts. Our pages load their fonts from Google Fonts. When a page loads, your browser connects to Google’s servers, so Google may receive your IP address and basic browser information. See Google’s privacy policy.
• YouTube video. The Oasis Forever video on our home page only loads from YouTube when you press play. Until then, no connection is made to YouTube. Once you press play, YouTube (owned by Google) may receive your IP address and may store information on your device. We use YouTube’s privacy-enhanced mode.
• Social media links. Links to the band’s Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and YouTube pages take you to those sites, which have their own privacy policies.

Your rights

You have the right to:

• access the personal data we hold about you
• correct anything that is wrong or incomplete
• ask us to delete your data
• object to how we use your data

To use any of these rights, email bookings@gigforge.co.uk. We will reply within one month.

Complaints

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, please tell us first so we can try to put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO), the UK’s data protection regulator, at ico.org.uk.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we use your data, we will update this page and the date at the top.
